Best Buy has stated that it will be lowering its price for HTC Flyer Tablet by Tomorrow the October 1st. The flyer will drop its price from $499 to $299 . The Flyer tablet is Android Powered 2.3 Gingerbread. The Flyer has Wi-Fi enabled an optional capacitive pen than can be used to write on the screen. Amazon recently unveiled its own 7-inch tablet called the Kindle Fire that will arrive on November 15 for $199. The Flyer is nearing its 6 month birthday and hasn’t fared very well in the marketplace. This is mainly because it attempted to compete directly with the iPad while offering a smaller screen and dated OS. The HTC Flyer is a fast, portable, light-weight tablet that integrates the immersive and highly intuitive HTC Sense(TM) experience and enables content including videos, music, games and more to be easily accessed and enjoyed.
