Taiwanese smartphone makers HTC has confirmed that its One X and the EVO 4G LTE Smartphone have successfully  completed. The review process in U.S. Customs and are being released into the the country. HTC is still working with Customs to get the devices to retailers and did not have a firm timeline for that as of yet.

“HTC has completed the review process with US Customs and HTC devices have been released, as they are in compliance with the ITC’s ruling. Future shipments should continue to enter the US and we are confident that we will soon be able to meet the demand for our products.” HTC said in a statement.

US customs authorities were forced to the blockade at the request of the ITC which ruled in December that some HTC Smartphones powered by Android infringed a 1996 Apple patent. HTC said that it had altered the design and technology in its devices to get around this, but conceded to additional inspection. What do you think?
