Online file sharing website Megaupload’s data from users could be deleted by the end of this week. U.S. federal prosecutors did block the access of Megaupload and charged seven Megaupload executives. According to a letter filed in a court on Friday says two ISP’s providers could start deleting the date of users this week, despite the protests of lawyers working on behalf of the web site’s founders. Furthermore the letter stated that the storage companies Carpathia Hosting and Cogent Communications Group may start deleting data’s of users by the earliest on Thursday. Megaupload lawyer Rothken said at least 50 million Megaupload users of data in danger of being erased.

Megaupload lawyer Ira Rothken has revealed that company is doing what it can to try to keep the data from being deleted. “We’re cautiously optimistic at this point that because the United States, as well as Megaupload, should have a common desire to protect consumers, that this type of agreement will get done,” he said.
