British phone carrier Vodafone UK has revealed that it will begin rolling out the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update to the HTC Sensation on its network today, and the update should now be available. Vodafone UK users can check it  available on your device by going to Settings > About Phone > Software Update> Check now. That’ll be exciting for all concerned. Still no word on the Galaxy S II ICS update for Vodafone users.

“Great news. The testing of the ICS update for HTC Sensation is complete, and we plan to start rolling out the update tomorrow, 29th March. The update will be rolled out in phases by the Over The Air service, so if yours doesn’t appear right away, you can either wait for it to appear, or go to Settings > About Phone > Software Update > Check now. We’d recommend ensuring your phone is fully charged before beginning the update, and carrying it out over WiFi” Vodafone’s UK said. If you have received Ice Cream Sandwich on your HTC Sensation on Vodafone UK, Sound of in comments below.

I downloaded ICS for my HTC Sensation over the weekend and it is terrible!

Launching email takes forever, with blank screen of 5 seconds or so, and battery life appears to be much worse, despite having an upgraded battery and Juice Defender.

Are there known bugs? If so when will they be repaired?
