Android 4.0.4 Update Released For GSM Nexus S, WiFi Xoom And HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus

Folks, Android 4.0.4 has started rolling out on Wifi-only Motorola Xoom tablets as well as well as GSM Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus phones, Google has announced. The current Nexus flagship, along with its precursor, the Nexus S, and the Motorola XOOM WiFi all get the updated version of the platform, headed out as an OTA upgrade. The Android 4.0.4 update brings a number of bug fixes and new features to Android devices, which include a number of stability improvements, improved camera performance, and more.

“We’ve started rolling out Android 4.0.4, Ice Cream Sandwich, to UMTS/GSM Nexus S, Xoom Wi-Fi, and HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus devices, and we’ll be rolling it out to more devices in the coming weeks. Some of you will be receiving Ice Cream Sandwich for the first time, while others will be receiving an update to your existing Ice Cream Sandwich experience with stability improvements, better camera performance, smoother screen rotation, improved phone number recognition and more” Google said. Let us know how you get on with the updated 4.0.4 software in the comments.
