Cupertino based Apple Inc has sent out invitation to a March 7 press event expected to be the unveiling of the iPad 3. The invitation featured a picture of an iPad and the words: “We have something you really have to see. And touch.” Cupertino-based tech giant has even given us a glimpse of the device everybody is talking about. And it looks like the high-resolution rumours were on the money too.
Several bloggers asserted that the photo also showed a higher-resolution, or so-called “Retina,” display. Furthermore Apple will host the launch event at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, a regular venue for the company’s press-only announcements and where Former Chief Executive Steve Jobs introduced the iPad 2 on March 2, 2011.
