Nokia has just released the latest software update for the Nokia Lumia 800 smartphone as the battery life issue should be fixed in the latest version at the moment the Lumia 800 users have been reporting about the battery life issue now it has been fixed and next update the Nokia will provide with the fixed Camera issue and the Audio. Nokia said in a statement:
“the primary target of the latest Lumia 800 update (1600.2483.8106.11500) was to enhance standby time as well as to bring an improvement to the issue reported by some customers in December, that their phone wasn’t able to access the full battery charge capacity correctly. We can confirm that we have successfully tested that those improvements are working.”
Nokia said that the Battery life issue has been fixed now and Nokia has just seen posts on its official Nokia Support Discussion forum that they’ve said “noted your concerns regarding audio and camera setting and are going to address those in series of the future updates.”
Regarding this battery life issue was reported back in December 2011 and now they’ve figured out the issue, while now there also have may cause some issue on the Lumia at this time that all should be fixed in the future update. It’s refreshing to see that the Nokia is taking pro-active approach and not been hiding, Bottom, however if you are using Nokia Lumia 800 you should look for the future update version of firmware. And you can just to make it clear, you can always navigate to Settings > Phone Update and select “Notify me when updates are found” to make sure you have the latest and greatest in terms of the software.
