Korean Manufacturer Giant Samsung has announced its Galaxy Tablet 8.9 Android Powered will be available for Pre Order now, and will ship October 2.The 16GB Tab 8.9 is priced at $469 and 32GB Tab 8.9 is priced at $569. Note: Prices for Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablets with similar capacities are only about $30 more than their Tab 8.9 counterparts. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 is an aptly named 8.9-inch Android 3.1 Honeycomb tablet with TouchWiz that we first saw way back CTIA in March. The cost would be $569 for the 32 GB version, and $469 for the 16 GB version. Or, you might be able to snag one at a Best Buy before Sunday. The Galaxy Player 4.0 and 5.0 are 4- and 5-inch Android 2.3.5 devices, respectively — basically smartphones without the phone. The Galaxy Player 5.0 sports a massive 2500 mAh battery, while the 4.0 has a meagre 1200 mAh battery.
