South Korean Smartphone maker LG has announced that it will be launching the LG Optimus True HD LTE P936 across Europe and Asia. LG will be releasing the device in Germany, Portugal, Sweden, Hong Kong and Singapore, having already launched the high-definition handset in Korea, Japan, Canada and the US. With most current high-end phones releasing with Android 4.0 out of the box, it’s quite disappointing to see the LG Optimus True HD LTE featuring Android 2.3, but LG promises the opportunity to upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich very soon.
The Smartphone features with a stunning 4.5 True HD IPS display at 1280 x 720 resolution (16:9 ratio), sporting a 1.5GHZ dual-core processor, an 8-megapixel camera. ”The mobile industry is evolving around LTE technology which has demonstrated its capability when it comes to speed, efficiency and reliability,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “With the Optimus True HD LTE, we want customers to understand that LTE isn’t just about the network and that all LTE phones are not alike.” What do you think of the LG Optimus True HD LTE?
