Taiwanese Smartphone maker HTC has announced the One XL for Europe, the device that swaps a quad-core processor for 4G LTE. HTC One XL, different from the One X, has a Qualcomm 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, but it comes with the addition of 4G LTE for the German market. This high-speed connectivity will be provided from Vodafone Germany, which will be the first European carrier to start selling the Smartphone.

“With the HTC One XL, the second LTE-enabled smartphone from HTC in the German market, we are strengthening our position as an innovation and technology leader,” an HTC spokesperson said. The One XL is almost identical to the international One X, except that it sports a 4G LTE radio and dual-core Snapdragon S4 chip instead of the Tegra 3 found in the One X.  The One XL will be available in Germany from the beginning of June for around €659 (~$830).
