Software giants Microsoft has confirmed that the preview of the Windows 8 will be available in the first week of June. The preview release date was revealed by Microsoft Chief, Steven Sinofsky at Japan’s Windows 8 Dev Days conference before posting it on @BuildWindows8 twitter feed. Windows 8 is expected to be officially launched in October, three years after the release of its predecessor, Windows 7.
Microsoft has already confirmed that there are three packages in the line-up, Windows 8, Windows 8 Pro and Windows RT. Windows 8 comes up with the new Metro style interface and has been “reimagined from the chipset to the user experience” say Microsoft. Windows 8 is reinvented from a solid core of Windows 7 speed and reliability. It’s an all-new touch interface. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
