British phone carrier Vodafone has announced that it will be offering the new Samsung Galaxy ahead of the phone’s launch on 3 May. Vodafone UK has a page simply using the “next Galaxy” term we’ve seen elsewhere in the build-up to the new Samsung Galaxy device – invites customers or possible customers to plug in their details, with the promise of receiving all the news as it happens.
Whenever Samsung discusses about the next Galaxy it is of course pointing to the Galaxy S III. However, we can’t help but think that all this talk of a “next Galaxy” hints that Samsung will be taking a tip from Apple’s “new Ipad” naming strategy and calling its next flagship handset simply the new Samsung Galaxy. We’ll have to wait till May 3 for more details on the device. Are you planning on buying Samsung’s ‘next Galaxy’? Sound off in the comments below.
