Former Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs Wins a Grammy Award

Former Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs will be honored with a Grammy Award by The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences on Wednesday naming him a Trustees Award honoree. The invitation only  ceremony will be held  on the Eleventh of February 2012 and on the following day during the 54th. Grammy awards television broadcast a formal acknowledgment would be made.

Job will be honored for his well established long term career of innovation according to a statement from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Science and also for helping to change the way in which we consume music,TV, movies and books. Apart from his role in the innovation and creation of iPod, he was also key in convincing a prominent record companies to sell their music on the iTunes Store,which now has sold an amount of more the 16 billion songs since its inception.
