South Korean based LG has announced the successor to Optimus 3D today in the form of Optimus 3D Cube. LG Optimus 3D Cube will come up with a 4.3 inch IPS LCD multi-touch touch display, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, and it will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
In terms of specs the device will feature a dual 5 megapixel camera for capturing 3D photos and video, which can also record 2D video and take 2D photos. The smart phone will have a 16GB internal storage and a 1520mAh battery. Optimus 3D Cube will come with NFC hardware with support for LG Tag Plus technology. The device will be released in South Korea in partnership with SK Telecom next month for 847,000won ($753). There are no details on when will Optimus 3D Cube will be available in the US and Europe. We can expect more details next week as LG will be unveiling the device at MWC 2012 on the 27th of February.
