According to Bloomberg Samsung are planning to file a cross claim against with a federal court of Australia, Samsung’s aim is to Apple’s iPhone and iPad for infringing on seven wireless patents it holds. The claim also aims to invalidate patents held by Apple that have been used against the company, Bloomberg revealed. Last month Samsung announced it would be taking retaliatory action against Apple. which successfully kept Samsung from selling its Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet in the country as part of a legal agreement. Apple had originally targeted Samsung’s devices for infringing on its own intellectual property, with that agreement giving Samsung the option to come up with a special, non-infringing model for the Australian market.
