What The new iPad’s Retina display looks like under a microscope [Pics]

There is no hesitation in anyone’s mind that the new iPad has a display that puts every other tablet to embarrassment. If you are fascinated in seeing what is  perhaps the most vivid representation of just how much more advanced it is than the iPad 2s display, you will certainly need a microscope. Lukas Mathi a UI designer has a digital microscope (a cheap one, he reveals) and the new iPad, so he decided to put up some screenshots of its screen, magnified 80x.

Lukas Mathi also has images of many other smartphone and tablet screens under the same magnification for comparison.There are other device with more elegant pixels like the iPhone 4S and the but those have much smaller screen sizes. The larger the display, the more difficult it becomes, exponentially, to keep that kind of graphical fidelity intact. Explaining how great the new iPad’s display is, detailing a 2048 x 1536 resolution with 3.1 million pixels and boasting 44% greater colour saturation.

    Retina is still the best screen! During playing video games you can navigating in sharp mode… It looks bit similar to iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.
