Amazon Cloud Offers Free Window’s Servers

Online retail giants Amazon’s Web Service has confirmed that this week users are able to access 750 hours of Microsoft Windows Server for free on its Cloud. This now enables customers application on Windows Server 2008 R2 can now transfer them to AWS’ Free Usage Tier and get to grips with the cloud model at no cost to the business. Since Amazon Web Service free tier introduced back in 2010, Users are able to run virtual servers based on Linux.

“Customers eligible for the AWS Free Usage tier can now use up to 750 hours per month of t1.micro instances running Microsoft Windows Server for free,” AWS said. ”With this announcement, customers familiar with Windows Server can gain hands-on-experience with AWS at no-cost.”The offer matched the technical specifications offered under Amazon’s previous free tier offer of a Linux micro instance.
