RIM (Research in Motion) announced that the Blackberry will be offering all premium apps for free and also one month technical support free. There are currently 12 apps on offer, including SIMS 3, Bejeweled, Texas Hold’em Poker 2, Bubble Bash and Shazam Encore, and RIM claims more will be added at a later date and the enterprise customers will be offered one month of free technical support but current customers will get a one month extension on their existing contract and some of customers who currently don’t have a technical support contract will get a one month trial of the service.
Few weeks ago RIM CEO Mike Lazaridis had publicly apologized after the outage but now RIM is trying to make the entire experience less painful with some apps and free support as you know it’s nice to have blackberry technical support for free trial of 30 days (one month). but we’re not entirely sure that users who were unable to access their email for several days will be satisfied with a bunch of free apps, half of which are games.
