Intel Chief Executive Otellini Forecasts 2012 Sales of $54 Billion

At an event at the Consumer Electronic Show 2012, Intel Chief Executive Paul Otellini has revealed that some financial information on Intel’s projected sales for year 2012. Intel Chief Executive claimed that sales figure for 2012 could reach $54 billion which is in line with average estimates made by analysts at $53.9 billion. The interview which primarily was focused on upcoming products such as smartphones and Ultrabooks powered by Intel’s own chips.At the end Intel CEO quoted  by saying, “Any way you look at it, this will be the best year in Intel’s history.”

“Any way you look at it, this will be the best year in Intel’s history,We’ll probably get $54 billion of revenue” Intel Chief Executive told Bloomberg. Over the year Intel tends to keep a low profile when it comes to make predictions, so if the CEO is using the word “probably” it could simply mean “will be.”
