Google Chrome 15 browser is currently most used browser in the world according Web Analytic firm StatCounter. StatCounter reveals that Google Chrome has 23.6% globally in the last week of November, overtaking Microsofts Internet Explorer 8 which had 23.5% of the market. Mozilla Firefox which had 12.12% of marke share in last week of november and Internet Explorer which took 10.3% share. To be said Internet Explorer is still the dominant force, Still the most used overall browser in the world. StatCounter revealed Internet Explorer are being used by over 40% Web users in the last week of November. Google Chrome in Second place with 26% of the global market share, followed closely by Firefox, which took 25% of the global market share.
Aodhan Cullen, CEO, StatCounter. “Looking at the daily stats, Chrome 14 and 15 have been overtaking IE8 at weekends since the beginning of October. However, Chrome 15 overtook IE8 for the first time during the five day working week, in week commencing 5th December. It looks as if people favour Chrome on weekends at home but office commercial use has now caught up.”
