Korean Tech Giants Samsung has tied up a new agreement with American Airlines, American Airline will now offers Galaxy Tab as high class entertainment device, The device will be available within the flight in the first and business class cabins on select 767 aircraft from American. Galaxy Tab will offer passenger a new in flight entertainment, Allowing American Airline passenger to watch videos and to listen music, Its been said there are over 70 movies on device. American Airlines marketing VP Rob Friedman stated,”We continue to move forward with our efforts to modernize the travel experience by using the innovative Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to provide inflight entertainment onboard.”
“The addition of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to American’s inflight amenities illustrates the Tab’s universal appeal to a variety of customers. With its Android platform, ultra-slim, lightweight design, a brilliant 10-inch touchscreen and an array of entertainment options, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 will provide a world-class entertainment experience for travellers onboard American Airlines,” said Samsung Mobile VP Tim Wagner.
The details:
- Customers can choose from over 70 movies, including 30 new releases, with three titles exclusive to American from Paramount, as well as a variety of television programs and audio selections
- The tablets also feature a special touchscreen specifically designed for American that allows customers to interact with the devices in a user-friendly way.
- Additional tablet functionality and content will be rolled out over time, beginning in first quarter 2012, and will include Wi-Fi capability on equipped aircraft, games, eReader publications, and more.
