Grand Theft Auto III finally released on iOS and Android

Rockstar Games has finally released Grand Theft Auto III, which is now available  iOS and in Android it’s the first time they’ve got their very own App for the mobile devices now it’s finally became available on the App Store and the Android Market. The controls have been optimised to work on smaller-sized touchscreen devices too.

“The critically acclaimed blockbuster Grand Theft Auto III comes to mobile devices, bringing to life the dark and seedy underworld of Liberty City,” the official app description reads. “With a massive and diverse open world, a wild cast of characters from every walk of life and the freedom to explore at will, Grand Theft Auto III puts the dark, intriguing and ruthless world of crime at your fingertips.”

The GTA III is compatible with the iOS’ iPad, iPod Touch, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, On the Android Mobile OS, it’ll only work on the LG Optimus 2X and Motorola Atrix smartphones but it wouldn’t work with Samsung Galaxy S2 and the app is also compatible with the Acer Iconia range, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, LG Optimus Pad, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1, Sony Tablet S and Toshiba Thrive. The GTA is now available for download for both iOS and Android but the game isn’t free it’s just $4.99.
