When Instagram was initially launched back in October 2010 it did not strike most people as the kind of startup that would be acquired for $1 billion. Instagram’s acquisition by Facebook for the absurd amount of $1 billion. In fact Instagram has zero revenue, so how can anyone say that the company is worth $1 billion?
