Talk about a huge deal! One analyst claims that Google is reportedly paying an amount as high as $1 Billion to be Safari’s iPhone, Mac, and iPad systems default search engine. So, I guess Google really does have more money than God. As a matter of fact, I’ll bet that God is asking them for spending money by this point.

Reports say that the number is not only guesswork, but they did a lot of number-crunching to come to the figure. After all, we are talking about the iPad and iPhone, both of which have been very sought after devices since their debut.

The “Business Insider” said that if the iPad keeps growing like it is, it is likely to surpass PCs in about 5 years. Of course, by that point if Apple switched to another provider for a search engine, it could be upsetting for Google. When you start looking into this, you can really see how this figure makes sense, but it will be interesting to see what the two companies do in the next few years.
