Nokia To Ship 37 Million Windows Phone In 2012

Finnish phone maker seems to partnership with Microsoft working well, An analyst is predicting that these two companies will thrive forward in sales this year. Nokia and Microsoft will offer updated hardware and are also planning some heavy promotional activity. According an analyst from Morgan Stanley stated that Nokia’s Windows Phone Shipment will reach 37 million units in 2012 and figure will rise in 2013 to 64 million units. HTC will ship more Windows Phone Devices this year, Analyst predicts the total number of Windows Phone handsets shipped this year to be more than 40 million units.

 Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer said  ”we’ve got a lot of room to go in selling Windows Phones,” further adding,”but I feel very much like the work we’re doing is really going to pay off,”.The company’s partnership with Nokia is now in full swing, with devices already out in Europe and about to hit the U.S, favorable reviews of the products, and growing developer support for the platform’s mobile app store.
