Cupertino based Apple has swiftly launched a sequel to the iPad smart cover at its WWDC event last night, offering rear protection for its IOS tablet. The Ipad Smart Case, the accessory offers protection for the back of the Ipad. Unlike the Smart Cover, its tough polyurethane material protecting the device from scratches and scuffs. The $50 cover conducts much like the Smart Cover in that it can wake the iPad on opening and put the device to sleep on closing, except this time it covers the whole thing. The Smart Case has a polyurethane design and comes in six sassy colors.
“Like the Smart Cover, it folds easily into a stand for reading, typing and watching video. And it automatically wakes and sleeps iPad on open and close,” says the company on the Apple Store.
