Google+ Loses 60% Of Its Traffic After Public Launch

Google’s Social networking Site Google+ has lost over 60% of its active users on its Social networking site Google+ according to a report by Chitika Insights. Google+ started with invite only, gaining significant interest. On September 20th  Google+ was opened for public, This resulted  Traffic to hit much as 1,200% in the first few days following its public launch Sept. 20. Chitika analysed Google+ traffic  before and after the social networking service opened for public. “The data shows that, on the day of its public debut, Google+ traffic skyrocketed to peak levels. But, soon after, traffic fell by over 60% as it returned to its normal, underwhelming state. It would appear that although high levels of publicity were able to draw new traffic to Google+, few of them saw reason to stay.” Says Chitika according to its findings.
