South Korea smartphone makers LG has announced that the Optimus 4X HD, is now available in select European markets. The device was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona back in February, the phone which sports a 4.7-inch high-definition display is already on sale in Germany and will be rolled out across the UK, Netherlands, Sweden in Italy in the coming days, before reaching the rest of Europe in the next weeks and months. LG have also said that the Optimus 4X HD will also be made available in Asia, CIS and South and Central America within the next few months, although no specific launch dates have been given.
“The Optimus 4X HD is fast but speed alone isn’t what makes this smartphone so great,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “Differentiated User Experience and exclusive features LG engi-neers have developed for this device set this phone apart as much as it’s Tegra 3 brain. With Optimus 4X HD, we’ve set the bar quite high for the industry and the competition”. LG Optimus 4X HD comes up with a an NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, a 4.7-inch True HD IPS display and an 8-megapixel camera. It also boasts a powerful 2,150mAh battery and LG’s new user interface, Optimus UI 3.0. The device will be powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. What do you think?
