British mobile phone retailer Phones 4U and Carphone Warehouse have both announced that the Lumia 900 will be getting a UK release before the end of the month. Both companies are offering the Lumia 900 with a number of the mobile operators, which include Vodafone, O2 and Orange, and the device comes with the latest version of Microsoft’s Windows Phone. The UK variant of the Lumia 900 won’t differ dramatically from the 4.3-inch smartphone that just launched in the US, although it does lose out on the key feature of LTE connectivity, which is replaced with HSPA+.
The Lumia 900 comes up with a 4.3in AMOLED Clearblack display, a 1.4GHz Qualcomm single-core processor and HD 720p video. Lumia 900 in white will be available in store and online from Phones 4u from 27 April for free from a range of £36 a month contracts. The Lumia 900 features an 8 megapixel camera with an f/2/2 Carl Zeiss lens, the camera is capable of recording HD video in 720p. Lumia 900 is Topping Amazon.com’s Best Sellers in Cell Phones with Service Plans list, the handset has received 58 five-star customer reviews with only two four-star, two two-star and one one-star ratings.
