Google’s Social network site Google+ has finally released an update on the iPad and iPod Touch. iPad users, as the app still isn’t optimised for the tablet’s interface. Today released update wasn’t a Major one but it need to fix the necessary Google+ app’s inexplicable lack of support for the iPod Touch. The Google+ app launched three weeks ago, and it only worked on iPhones. It makes sense for Google to take its time developing a more robust app for the iPad’s larger screen, but the lack of iPod Touch support just didn’t make much sense.
The other new features in this update is that including aggregated circle add notifications, huddle settings, and the usual “Performance and stability improvements”. Unfortunately this Google+ update for the iPad is not completely native as the app will just be a pixel-doubled iPhone application. This choice by Google is still better than no iPad support at all, though. You should be able to update the app now via the App Store.
