Folks, Apple have just rolled out iOS 5.1.1 for iPad, iPod touch, and iPhone. As you can note above, the 54.4 MB update incorporates: better reliability for the HDR option when using the camera app from the lock screen and a number of other fixes for bugs affecting AirPlay video playback; the ability to switch between 2G and 3G networks on third-gen iPad; and, an “Unable to purchase” alert. It looks like Apple has fixed the problem, but always be cautious as you surf around the interwebs.
-Improves reliability of using HDR option for photos taken using the Lock Screen shortcut.
-Addresses bugs that could prevent the new iPad from switching between 2G and 3G networks.
-Fixes bugs that affected AirPlay video playback in some circumstances.
-Improved reliability for syncing Safari bookmarks and Reading List.
-Fixes an issue where ‘Unable to purchase’ alert could be displayed after successful purchase.
