Bluefins Labs reports that Super Bowl XLVI game was the biggest social TV ever held. The event recorded a staggering 12.2 million social media comments. Bluefin Labs has come up with this infographic explaining the social media activity surrounding the event into three different infographics about the game itself, the commercials, and the Halftime Show.

The Game 2012 Super Bowl had a mind-boggling 12.2 million social media comments, made by 5.4 million unique commenters.

One of the outstanding stats that Bluefin Labs came up with was Halftime Show alone accounted for 862,000 social media comments

Footballing legend David Beckham’s  H&M underwear commercial was right on top with 109,000 social media comments within the 45-minute period surrounding the ad’s debut.
