Steve Jobs death has been exploiting by Scammers on Facebook. Former Apple CEO Steve Jobs who passed away yesterday, hours after his death  Sickeningly, as with the deaths of other figures in the public eye, there are scammers waiting to take advantage of bad news. The Wall posts reads as “In memory of Steve, a company is giving out 50 ipads tonight. R.I.P. Steve Jobs” followed by a link, its obviously  there is no iPads. The  link  which head over to bit.ly/restinpeace-steve-jobs, which is now unavailable to access at bitly as shut it down. The picture reveals that there were t 15,000 individuals clicked. The real thing what happens is that those who do click through are led to various sites to fill out surveys, sign up for free offers for this or that. The scammers are paid affiliate fees (not to different from click through fees for banner ads) for having brought traffic to particular sites.
