HTC’s Q1 2012 reports 70% profit drop

Taiwan based HTC has announced unaudited financial results for the Q1 of 2012. HTC was widely expected to post a quite devastating quarter in light of increasing  rivalry in the smartphone business and a slowing global economy. Malware infection found in half a million Mac computers

Samsung expects profits to double from smartphone boost

South Korea based Smartphone makers Samsung has reported  estimated quarterly profits of $5.15bn on the back of smartphone sales and the launch of its Galaxy Note smartphone-tablet hybrid. Asus Padfone Pre-Orders Begin in Taiwan
