An analytics firms named Flurry stated that the week of Christmas there was huge amount of Apps were downloaded as well. Flurry revealed that on Christmas day a record-breaking 242 million application downloads.Stepping back and looking at the entire week from December 25 – December 31, additional records were set, now for the highest number of device activations and app downloads of any week in history. During that week flurry estimates 20 million devices were activated and 1.2 billion apps downloaded.
Flurry estimates U.S the place where most apps were downloaded with 509 million downloads,.
