Online File Sharing website Megaupload’s Data of Users will be kept safe for another two weeks at least. Earlier this we reported that Megaupload’s data could be gone by this week. Nevertheless Megaupload attorney Ira Rothken has revealed that the Data would be kept safe for another two weeks according reports from Torrentfreak.”In an update a few hours ago, MegaUpload lawyer Ira Rothken told TorrentFreak that after talks with the various parties involved the data has been saved for at least two more weeks” TorrentFreak said.
Megaupload’s data’s of users might be safe for another two weeks, but still there is no way for a users to retrive any files Many of these files are legitimate backups of family photos, videos and etc’s. Megaupload attorney Rothken is in negotiations with the government about finding a permanent solution to the user-data issue. At the moment if you visit Megaupload you would be seeing an FBI notice saying that the domain name has been seized. Megaupload and officials now have two more weeks to come up with a solution.
